What is a distributor login?
A distributor login is a special access given to a B2B webshop so that customers must log in before they can purchase products. This also allows these customers to see their own special price lists.
Advantages of restricting access
B2B webshops differ from B2C webshops in several ways:
- Ability to limit who can purchase in the webshop.
- Ability to differentiate prices per customer or customer group.
- Ability to filter products so they are not visible to everyone, allowing specific products to be sold to specific companies.
Indexed PIM and distributor login
Indexed PIM supports B2B setups with customers, orders, and many price lists. Customers and products can be synchronized to a B2B webshop, or a white-label solution from Indexed PIM can be used.
