Why PIM?
When selling products online as a business, you encounter a series of challenges.
For example:
- How do you transfer products from Business Central to the webshop?
- How do you transfer orders from the webshop to Business Central?
- How do you handle inventory updates?
- Can the webshop show specific prices for logged-in customers?
Many of these challenges can often be solved by a platform like Indexed PIM, but "PIM" is not always the keyword people search for.
Instead, they search for "integration to webshop" or "integration between webshop and ERP system". Perhaps the problem also starts when you expand your current webshop with more languages, currencies, and markets.
What does PIM stand for?
PIM stands for Product Information Management. It is a system to manage all your product data centrally in one place. From PIM, you can then send this data out to your webshops, marketplaces (such as Amazon or Zalando), catalogs, and other sales channels.
It ensures that your product information is consistent, up-to-date, and of high quality across all channels.
