Workflows can be event-driven or scheduled. The create flow supports entity selection, one or more event names, core actions such as translation or prefill, and app-specific actions discovered from installed apps through the workflow action catalog.
Scheduled workflows use app-specific scheduled actions plus a schedule expression validated by the scheduled task service. They can also be run immediately from the workflow UI, not only at the next scheduled time.
Condition handling is built into the workflow layer. Lookup endpoints provide searchable values for product templates, products, brands, product groups, categories, units, suppliers, product status, property groups, and languages, and the executor checks conditions before acting, especially for order workflows.
